➤ India honored him by electing him President of the Indian National Congress Session held at Lahore.

At the call of the nation he gave up a lucrative practice at the Allahabad High Court, devoting himself wholly and solely  to the national cause.

Not a few but hundreds of aspiring young men took their inspiration from his life and work. He was a born leader of men and he was a born parliamentarian.

➤ The greatest monument to his life work is the Hindu University of which he was the founder.

He died a few years ago, full of years and honors. India would be a better country if it had more men lime him.
