The game cricket has earned the international reputation in the world. It has been so much popular that everybody of any status and age knows about it. He eagerly waits for cricket match. On the day of final match most of the shops of market are closed. Many employees of the offices apply for casual leave to see the match on their television set. A test cricket match is played for five days. There are also one-day and T-20 matches.

I enjoyed recently a test cricket match on television which was played in Calcutta between India and England. The Eden Garden where the match was played was packed. The match started at 9.50 a.m. The Indian Captain was Virat Kohli and the captain of the English team was Eoin Morgan.

The match started with the batting of English team. England had a powerful opening batsman. But wickets started falling and English were all out for a small total in the first innings. The Indian players did well. So, the Indian team batted well and scored a Good total.

On the fourth day, English team went in to bat again. But they could to score against the spin attack of Kohli and others. On the last day India batted again. It had to score 225 runs to win the match. Our players started well. But some of them could not stay on the crease for long. The match was heading for a draw. In the afternoon the match lost all interest.

But this Test match of the Eden Garden, Calcutta is still fresh in my memory for the thrilling movement of its action.
